Fakie belief:

Sometimes, Fakies just don’t fully understand what Realies are doing.  After seeing Kobayashi eat an insane number of hot dogs, Travis tends to think of Realie actions in terms of endurance competitions.

This sometimes leads to accurate misconceptions of what is actually occurring socially with Realies:

Of course, He isn’t entirely wrong either…

Everyday observation

Often, Realies tend to accept reality without actually embracing how unique it is every second of their existence. image
Fakies, however, revel in it. Fakies pay keen attention to their Realie reality, finding humor and pleasure in not only its concrete reality but also in its outright absurdity.

Living in a Realie world may mean all sorts of absurd things Realies just fail to acknowledge a bizarre because Realies have grown accustomed to them.

But then again Fakies tend to appreciate things Realies consider useless too.

Travis’s time travel influence

Fakies can travel anywhere on the Realie world and can travel to any time in the Realie world.

Often this has led to interesting historical anomalies which would only be able to be explained via Fakie influence:

It’s not to say that Napoleon Bonaparte was actually influenced by Travis’s constant reenactments of Saturday Night Fever (such that Napoleon adopted Travolta’s iconic pose).  However, Jacques-Louis David was known to frequent many a Fakie party with Travis.

Fakie Leisure

Fakies in their free time like to do fulfilling things:

Like in the Spring time, Fakies like to find baby calves and take naps with them.  Since Fakies can be anywhere in the Realie world at any time, that they choose to do this makes it very special.

This is Travis:

Travis is an imaginary friend.  He is very very real, however.

It’s only that you and I cannot normally see him.  He’s sort of like a second class citizen who’s totally awesome. But no one like us knows it because we can’t see him, even though he’s hanging around us even now.

Travis is not alone.  He has other  imaginary friends too.  Collectively, they’re known as “Fakies.”  Us “Realies” just can’t see them.  But they’re there.

This blog is about their world and Travis’s existence.
